2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S

Only a few years after the launch of the Panamera Turbo, Porsche Turbo S has been added to the lineup with a squeeze another 50 hp from 4.8 liters awesome, twin-turbo V-8. This model is not exactly a surprise: The Panamera V-8 engines shared with the Cayenne and Cayenne last generation is offered with a 550-hp variations.

From ultra luxury to ultra performance, the 2012 Porsche Panamera is the "everything to everybody"sedan.Impressive cornering ability; engine choices from willing to thrilling; high fuel economy ofHybrid model; comfortable ride; beautiful cabin quality.

Panamera is big and heavy car, but it shines as it thunders on the road at real speed. Modified engine management and turbocharger enables an increase in titanium aluminum is 550 hp and 553 pounds-ft of torque, up from 516 for the regular Turbo. The chassis is "Sport" and "Sport Plus" mode, overboost function increases the twist to £ 590 ft-wild. Turbo can regularly raise the already-impressive 568 pounds-ft below the overboost, which is accessed by paying for Sport Chrono package. This package is standard in the Turbo S.

Added power translates into a performance you do not need to complain about: Porsche says 60 mph can be achieved in 3.6 seconds, but we used to clock the 3.3 Turbo. Picture a tenth or two faster than that, thanks largely to a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic, which includes the launch-control function. This is the only transmission available. The company claims a top speed of 190 mph, but based on our testing, real-world figure will be higher around 5 mph. If you are concerned, Porsche does not have a final rating of the fuel economy, but it said they would approach the Turbo city / highway numbers of 15/23 mpg.

Super Car

Some cars are designed for strict track use and others for touring. There are in fact massive differences between most super cars, research will be paramount. Pay particular attention to the ride quality, some cars have a great set up which is perfect for track use and also deliver great ride quality. There has never been a selection of 200mph cars this vast before, it can be easy to over look companies like Noble, Ultima, Spyker and tuning companies which offer real performance foryour money. Sticking to Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche might help you sleep at night but it won't give you exclusivity.Choosing the correct super car for your needs is paramount. Super-cars are supposed to be much faster and fearsome than ordinary cars. Though they still are all that, but compared to the Super-cars of the past made almost fifteen years ago they are slightly slower now.

The modern Super-cars have so much more technology that even if you hit the brake the computerinside the car calculates the speed and traction control and then brake the car making the response time slower than older Super-cars; in which the car did exactly what and when you told it to do. Fifteen years ago Mclaren proved that they had the technology to cross the 240 mph speed mark.

Though Porche have the same technology to achieve that goal, somehow for some strange reason they held back from doing so. In some old Super-cars like the Ferrari F40 there were no door handles, no radio and no carpets and all these things made it a lot lighter. The F40 could go from naught to 60 in 3.2 seconds which almost no modern super-car can accomplish. New modern carson the other hand have a lot of gadgets but they only serve as distractions. When you are in a super-car is drive and drive fast.Older Super-cars are still much faster than the new contemporary ones.Sports cars offer us the combination of speed, luxury, and safety. People often debate the difference between a sports car and a "sporting" car, for our purposes they are all prestige cars.

If you were waiting for BMW to apply some of the design lessons learned from Zagato's Coupeand Roadster concepts or at least take some inspiration from this speculative photoshop for its updated, 2014MY Z4, you'll be disappointed.
In fact, you will probably have to be an owner of the current model or a very dedicated Z4 fan to distinguish the styling changes on the hardtop roadster. Toyota Pays NHTSA Record $17.35 Million for Delaying Lexus RX Recall on Pedal Entrapment Issue

For the fourth time since 2010, Toyota has been fined the maximum penalty for delaying recalls.
On Tuesday, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that it has slapped Toyota with a record $17.35 million (€13.15 million at today's exchange rates) fine for failing to report a safety defect to address floor mat pedal entrapment in the 2010 Lexus RX 350 and RX 450h in a timely manner.
In May this year, NHTSA contacted Toyota regarding a trend in floor mats trapping the gas pedal on said models, but it took the Japanese carmaker a month to tell the safety agency that it was aware of 63 alleged incidents. In June, Toyota went ahead and recalled around 154,000 examples of its RX models to fix the problem.
The fine is the maximum allowed by law and largest single of its kind ever to be imposed against an automaker for a safety defect.
