Spied: 2012 Porsche Boxster S

porscheboxster2012 Spied: 2012 Porsche Boxster S
The new Porshce Boxster was recently spied while being taken for a test drive, undisguised and in broad daylight. The picture provides a clear view of the model’s lines and detail with its sharp side strakes, side air inlets and prominent wheel arches. The rear of the vehicle sees a new integrated lip spoiler that spans right across the car’s rump, bisecting the taillamps.
Provided by some forced induction and a few tweaks, the 2.5-litre flat-4-cylinder engine could generate as much as 360hp under the hood.
The model is expected to make its official debut around the beginning of 2012.

2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S

Only a few years after the launch of the Panamera Turbo, Porsche Turbo S has been added to the lineup with a squeeze another 50 hp from 4.8 liters awesome, twin-turbo V-8. This model is not exactly a surprise: The Panamera V-8 engines shared with the Cayenne and Cayenne last generation is offered with a 550-hp variations.

From ultra luxury to ultra performance, the 2012 Porsche Panamera is the "everything to everybody"sedan.Impressive cornering ability; engine choices from willing to thrilling; high fuel economy ofHybrid model; comfortable ride; beautiful cabin quality.

Panamera is big and heavy car, but it shines as it thunders on the road at real speed. Modified engine management and turbocharger enables an increase in titanium aluminum is 550 hp and 553 pounds-ft of torque, up from 516 for the regular Turbo. The chassis is "Sport" and "Sport Plus" mode, overboost function increases the twist to £ 590 ft-wild. Turbo can regularly raise the already-impressive 568 pounds-ft below the overboost, which is accessed by paying for Sport Chrono package. This package is standard in the Turbo S.

Added power translates into a performance you do not need to complain about: Porsche says 60 mph can be achieved in 3.6 seconds, but we used to clock the 3.3 Turbo. Picture a tenth or two faster than that, thanks largely to a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic, which includes the launch-control function. This is the only transmission available. The company claims a top speed of 190 mph, but based on our testing, real-world figure will be higher around 5 mph. If you are concerned, Porsche does not have a final rating of the fuel economy, but it said they would approach the Turbo city / highway numbers of 15/23 mpg.

2012 Ford Explorer Review

2012 Ford Explorer front three-quarters view
The 2012 Ford Explorer.

One of the maddening things about car buying these days is the wide price range for the same vehicle. It's caused by multiple trim levels. Case in point: The Ford Explorer. You can get it in four different levels...Explorer, Explorer XLT, Explorer Limited and Explorer Sport. And from the Explorer to the Explorer Sport, there's an $11,585 price spread.

That's a chunk considering the base price of the base model is $29,135 (we're comparing 2-wheel drive models here. 4X4 costs extra).

13 months ago, we reviewed the Explorer and said "The price is right."

For that one, it was. It was a four-wheel drive XLT, which started at $33,190 and with options rang in at $37,505...a fortuitous price point for Ford, since it was $580 below the Jeep Grand Cherokee that charmed its way into the TireKicker Top Ten Cars (So Far) the month before and still is on the list.

The Most Expensive Car Ever Insured Pictures

It may be hard to define what amount of a car maybe insured for.

More expensive cars will cost more to replace, and so the insurance will cost you more too.Naturally, there are always limited edition cars that would have to be insured for a lot of money, because there are limited cars that might be when equated with them.Cars that are regularly parked at the roadside are at a higher risk of being stolen or involved in collisions, and so will be more expensive to insure.

This is a kind of car that recorded the most expensive car ever insured:

Rolls Royce Silver Ghost
has been insured for $50,000,000.

Ferrari GTO
$28,500,000

Bugatti Type 41 Royale
$12,000,000.

Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR
$2,000,000.

Bugatti Veyron
This is easily about the most costly cars in the world, and it is only logical that it is also one of themost expensive cars insured too. Insurance companies would need to consider the rarity and the repair costs of these vehicles.

McLaren F1
$1,000,000

Ferrari Enzo
Limited edition of this vehicle was sold for $1,000,000.

Koenigsseg CCX
$700,000.

Porsche Carrera GT
$440,000.

Pagani Zonda C12
$428,000.

Super Car

Some cars are designed for strict track use and others for touring. There are in fact massive differences between most super cars, research will be paramount. Pay particular attention to the ride quality, some cars have a great set up which is perfect for track use and also deliver great ride quality. There has never been a selection of 200mph cars this vast before, it can be easy to over look companies like Noble, Ultima, Spyker and tuning companies which offer real performance foryour money. Sticking to Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche might help you sleep at night but it won't give you exclusivity.Choosing the correct super car for your needs is paramount. Super-cars are supposed to be much faster and fearsome than ordinary cars. Though they still are all that, but compared to the Super-cars of the past made almost fifteen years ago they are slightly slower now.

The modern Super-cars have so much more technology that even if you hit the brake the computerinside the car calculates the speed and traction control and then brake the car making the response time slower than older Super-cars; in which the car did exactly what and when you told it to do. Fifteen years ago Mclaren proved that they had the technology to cross the 240 mph speed mark.
Super Car Porche

Though Porche have the same technology to achieve that goal, somehow for some strange reason they held back from doing so. In some old Super-cars like the Ferrari F40 there were no door handles, no radio and no carpets and all these things made it a lot lighter. The F40 could go from naught to 60 in 3.2 seconds which almost no modern super-car can accomplish. New modern carson the other hand have a lot of gadgets but they only serve as distractions. When you are in a super-car is drive and drive fast.Older Super-cars are still much faster than the new contemporary ones.Sports cars offer us the combination of speed, luxury, and safety. People often debate the difference between a sports car and a "sporting" car, for our purposes they are all prestige cars.

Jeep Wrangler equipped with Haartz soft-top material

Early this year, Jeep launched the new 2013 models. All these models come with a new premium soft top which are made of Haartz’s Twillfast RPC. It is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and polyester lining fabric.

The soft tops are definitely cheaper than the retractable hardtop designs. However, the problems with soft tops is that they were not really good at noise insulation and are quite difficult to clean. Haartz’s soft top overcomes these by including a rubber inner layer which provides enhanced acoustics. Furthermore, the Twillfast RPC is easier to clean than previous materials used for the soft top Jeep models.

Subaru XV named ‘SUV of the Year’

The Subaru XV has been named ‘SUV of the Year’ by 4x4 Magazine ahead of rivals from Audi, Kia, Mazda, Nissan and Volkswagen.

Judges were impressed by the compact crossover's fuel economy, enjoyable driving characteristics and ground clearance.

Subaru’s customer service package called Everything Taken Care of (ETCo), apparently helped tip the balance in the Subaru’s favour.

Commenting on the XV’s victory, Nigel Fryatt, Editor, 4x4 Magazine, said: “The SUV class in 4x4 Magazine’s 4x4 of the Year test is one of the most competitive. The Subaru XV was an interesting new arrival in that class, which did much to impress judges.

The Subaru XV range is available in 1.6 petrol manual or CVT, 2.0 petrol manual or CVT and 2.0D manual options

Rolls Royce Ghost Sports Line Black Bison by Wald International

When it's not catering to the styling needs of mainstream cars like the Toyota 86 coupe and the Lexus CT 200h hatchback, Wald International puts its efforts on premium vehicles such as the Rolls Royce Ghost, for which it has prepared a new costume named the Sports Line Black Bison Edition.
The outside of the car is spruced up with an aerodynamic kit, the components of which are made from carbon fiber. These include a new front bumper with or without LED strips on both corners, front fender attachments, side skirts, a deck lid spoiler and a rear diffuser.
Pricing for the aero package is set at 1,522,500 yen (about US$18,200 or €13,800 at today's exchange rates).
